Box of Joy – Haiti Media Trip
Box of Joy is the Catholic and liturgical church’s counterpart to Operation Christmas Child. It is a ministry of Cross Catholic International, collecting and distributing gift boxes that go from American Christians to children in developing countries who would otherwise never receive gifts. We organized a rare opportunity to take a select few journalists to embed with Box of Joy as they distributed two container loads of boxes to children in Haiti. Journalists had the opportunity to interview with the Box of Joy team as well as families who are blessed by the boxes and the services the ministry provides.
