Samaritan’s Purse – Liberia Media Trip
A year and a half after the worst Ebola outbreak in history, Samaritan’s Purse sent a cargo plane to Liberia with medical supplies and construction materials, and a few seats on the plane were offered to a handful of journalists interested in telling the rest of the story, in speaking with ebola survivors and surviving family members in the devastated communities, and to many of the missionaries who were intimately involved in the crisis, and who can talk about the current issues faced by missionary doctors in zones of great need.
